This workshop provides information on why adults should pursue rehabilitation after cochlear implantations and the various types of rehabilitation that may be helpful. Topics reviewed include: auditory and speech therapy, music appreciation, interactive software, and other tools that can be pursued as part of a home practice program. Case studies on several adults and their rehab experiences are shared.

- Attendees will review benefits of rehabilitation for adult cochlear implant recipients.
- Attendees will review how to know when an individual might benefit from a rehabilitation program.
- Attendees will describe various rehabilitation formats and tools and how and why an individual might pursue them.
