Online Course Detail

Building on a previously offered HOPE course, Auditory Skills: You Lead the Way, this course offers parents of children with cochlear implants guidance on building listening skills beyond the earliest listening stages. By contextualizing Learning to Listen Sounds within the auditory skills hierarchy, the next stages of auditory skills development can be identified. Strategies and activities for moving toward these skills will be featured. This course is designed for parents and other caregivers as well as those professionals that are in the role of advising families.

This is a Recorded Course which requires either a Windows-based computer or a Mac with speakers/headphones to view. More information is available in the FAQs/Help section.
