Children often wonder: "Why do I have a hearing loss? Why don't other kids understand what it's like? Wouldn't it be easier if I pretended I didn't need hearing help?" Often, children keep these concerns to themselves which increases their sense of isolation. This presentation provides strategies for professionals to share with parents to support these important conversations.
