Parents of children with cochlear implants and the professionals that work with them are always looking for creative ways to incorporate auditory and language goals into fun activities. As the weather warms up, parents and professionals have prime opportunities to expand their horizons by taking therapy outdoors. Working outside affords unique opportunities to practice listening in noise and in less structured settings, and to address auditory and language development goals in new contexts. This presentation provides creative ideas for targeting auditory and language goals through fun, active games.
