Building on the foundation provided in Auditory Skills: You Lead the Way, Part II of this series turns its attention to approaches for maximizing auditory skill development with cochlear implants. Parents and the professionals that advise them are introduced to essential strategies that can be integrated into structured activities and everyday living to enhance auditory and language growth. Specific activities are provided to highlight each strategy.

  • Participants will be able to evaluate treatment techniques for maximizing auditory skill development.
